George graduated from the University of Toronto in 1988, and from there he went on to receive his license as a registered professional engineer in Ontario. He worked successfully in the federal public service in various fields (corporate, regulatory, policy, science) in the region, a central agency, and in Headquarters, leading programs and organizations of diverse specialists. He represented Canada internationally at both the OECD and IPCC. George worked for over 34 years, the last ten at the senior level, before retiring in 2021.
Today, George is busy volunteering for various causes he supports, as well as coaching and mentoring public servants. He hopes to apply his experience to help the PRC build a community of resilient families that provides the foundation for children to launch a lifetime of happiness.
George and his wife have called Ottawa home for over 20 years and have raised three daughters. They now enjoy spending time spoiling their grandson and two Shih Tzu dogs.
