Housed at the Parent Resource Centre (PRC) and working under the direction of the City of Ottawa, the Data Analysis Coordinators (DACs) support the Early Years and Child Care sectors. The DAC – Statistical Analysis Specialist works along side two other DACs. Key areas of the DAC – Statistical Analysis Specialist include gathering, compiling and analyzing data, creating resources such as community level reports, dashboards and presentations as well as actively participate in various City committees to share and help interpret relevant findings through discussions and presentations which help guide planning, service delivery and funding decisions/directions.

Reporting to the Family Resilience Program Coordinator, the In-home Parenting Support Educator provides competent and empathetic services to vulnerable parents and their families. The Parent Resource Centre’s In-home Parenting Support Educator provides in-person services at the home of the client and/or virtual services as required. Specific education and supports provided are trauma informed and tailored to the needs of the client. They can include, but are not limited to, child development, safety, nutrition, life skills, working with other professionals (e.g. Children’s Aid Society, doctors, social workers), and assistance locating and accessing community resources when a client is ready.
