Kathleen has always had a passion for supporting people, which is why she always knew she wanted to become a Social Worker. Growing up in a Mexican-Canadian household, she understands that all individuals are unique and have an individualized story. She has completed a diploma in Social Service Work, then bridged over to University where she completed her Honors Bachelor of Social Work. Kathleen has an interest for languages. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), and is learning Spanish.
Kathleen has over 10 years of working with families and youth, and is a strong advocate for supporting parents reaching their goals. Kathleen is a big believer in using strength-based empowerment which creates a supportive environment where parents and their children can flourish. In her free time Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, as well as attending concerts.
