Meet the PRC Team

Paula Coons started a new chapter at the Parent Resource Centre in early 2018.  Paula started her career in financial management in ‘99 and moved to the non-profit sector in ‘04 where she fell in love with her work and the difference she realized she could make in her community.  She has developed and delivered multiple workshops with a focus on financial management, reporting, excel, and the use of technology to make work life easier.  Paula has managed many programs including Education, Youth, Corporate Volunteerism and Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement.    Paula volunteers for Volunteer Ottawa’s Speakers Bureau and spreads the word about volunteering in Ottawa and how to get involved.  She lives just outside of the City, loves to spend time with her family and friends, and spends her summer vacation camping and enjoying the outdoors.
