Anna Muir

Anna Muir is a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with over 25 years of experience and dedication to supporting and empowering families in their children’s early learning journey. Throughout her career, Anna has worked in a variety of early learning settings, including Portobello Early Learning Centre, St. Francis of Assisi Early Learning Centre, and Hawthorne Meadows Headstart Nursery School Inc., where she created inclusive, play-based programs tailored to the needs of each child. Her holistic approach focuses on building strong, supportive relationships with children and their families, fostering environments where everyone can thrive.

Anna’s deep knowledge of early childhood development, coupled with her commitment to professional growth, allows her to bring innovative, evidence-based practices to her work. She is passionate about collaborating with families and staff to create nurturing spaces that encourage children’s growth and development. With a strong understanding of community resources and a dedication to inclusivity, Anna works closely with families from diverse backgrounds to ensure they feel confident and supported.

In her role as EarlyON Toy Library Coordinator at the Parent Resource Centre, Anna is excited to continue her lifelong work of enhancing family engagement and children’s learning by curating developmentally appropriate toys and resources. Her extensive experience, creativity, and commitment to family empowerment make her a valuable asset to the PRC community.
