Grant Yeo

Since my first job as a lifeguard and swim instructor, I have had a passion for working with children. With that passion, I decided to pursue the field of education and community development, getting my RECE in 2018 and my Bachelor’s of Early Learning in 2022 from Algonquin College. Since that time I have been working with the Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Center in their EarlyOn program as a parent support worker. In this role I have facilitated playgroups, parenting workshops and outdoor education programming.

Having completed my undergrad thesis in the benefits of outdoor education, I believe the outdoors is an incredible tool to facilitate child development and something I am dedicated to including in all aspects of my work.

I am currently in my second year of the Master of Science for Teachers Childhood Education program at Potsdam University to become an elementary school teacher in our community. I look forward to meeting the wonderful families we support and being part of the PRC team!
