Alexander Abdelnour

Alexander Abdelnour is currently enrolled as a fourth-year BCom Accounting student at the University of Ottawa. He is also currently employed with the Government of Canada as a Financial Analyst Student. He plans to pursue becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and continue his career with the Government of Canada after graduating.

Alex has a passion for supporting his community through various volunteer roles. Along with his best friend, Alex started several charity runs to fundraise for the Shepherds of Good Hope Shelter and Food Kitchen, where he also volunteers regularly. He is also a VP of Finance for Operation Come Home’s uOttawa Chapter. Alex looks forward to continuing his contributions to the community as a Director of the Parent Resource Centre.

If Alex had a day to himself, he would go for a nature hike, watch a history documentary, and spend time with his loved ones. His goals for this year are to improve his French, learn how to ice skate, and elevate his dad jokes to legendary status.
