Susan Yu
Treasurer
Susan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) since 2011. She graduated from Concordia University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Commerce, major in accountancy. She also has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from China and has worked as an IT manager until coming to Canada in 2004.
Susan is passionate about community service and healthcare, and has worked at the national medical association, United Way, and the hospital-based laboratory association over 10 years. She is currently working at a provincial crown agency, as the director of finance.
Susan and her family have lived in Ottawa over 15 years. With their two boys moving out to colleges, she and her husband are planning to spend more time on volunteering, travelling and their schnoodle dog, Lulu. They also have a summer project called “from the garden to the table” to accomplish each year.
