Paulo is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and a busy father of two young children.
Paulo has been a tax practitioner for the past 20 years, starting his career in 1997 with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Since then he has held multiple positions with other local companies and crown corporations. Today, Paulo is the tax manager for an Ottawa-based engineering company.
As a parent, and also wanting to give back to the community through volunteering, Paulo hopes to apply his experience and technical abilities to allow the PRC to reach its goals and fulfill its mission.
In 1996, Paulo graduated from the University of Ottawa with a B.Com, specializing in Accounting, and from there he went on to receive his designation as a Certified Management Accountant. Paulo also completed the in-depth tax courses I and II through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
